ALIR Mission Statement

                                   Academy of Learning in Retirement (ALIR) is an all-volunteer                                          organization which provides opportunities for lifelong learning                                      with social and community engagement.

                                 
                                
 

ALIR is governed by a Council of members comprised of eleven volunteers

and elected to two-year terms, according to the by-laws.  Current Council members

and Officers are:
Michael Burns (Chairman), Tom Colburn (Treasurer), Linda Comeaux (Marketing),
Don Gadberry (Scholarships), Julia Lerma, Julie Nyren, Steve Rutledge, Naomi Best

(Vice Chair), Paul Cavazos (Photographer), Jo Ann Fielden, and Estela Royal (Secretary).
